20 dir restored house, three floors. A really good little museum, teach details about craft of woodworking. BUT! They tried to protect the next door Tannery owner who harassed me as a lone female traveler, by directing me to go to new city tourism office to file complaints instead of file police report close by near the mosque entrance. Knowing I prob won’t go out of the way. They even discouraged the tour guide who told me he would take me to file a complaint. My experience as a tourist tainted by the people, be ware of the tannery next door, maffia like behavior. Physical intimidation and chasing me out demanding me paying 1000 dirahm. Very skilled here in Fes medina with ways to cheat you especially if u appear alone. It’s too bad the honest generous kind people of fes can’t enjoy a good reputation as they have to share space with the evils in the medina.

This was a well laid out exhibition and the exhibits were rare and fascinating. It provided a real insight into how the Médina used to function.
