  Per visitare le "tanneries" all'interno occorre essere accompagnati da una persona del posto, quindi è ovvio che poi pretenderà una mancia, l'importante è non dargli quanto chiedono (200 dirham voleva XD). Dopodiché ti accompagno in questo shop, dove i prodotti sono di ottima fattura, pelli di cammello, di capra, di montone, ecc... Hanno borse, pouf, borselli, giacche e giubotti. Secondo quanto ho sperimentato, loro propongono un prezzo quadruplicato. Nelle trattative scendete al 25% del presso richiesto, allora starete pagando il giusto (ovviamente questa regola non può essere assoluta, ma lo è stata nel caso del mio acquisto).

  I was picked up by a kid in the street, proposing a free tour of the tannery, after the tour they brought me to the leather shop, the official name is “Centre Artisanal Médina”. Inside the shop they offered me leather suitcases with prices between 900 and 1500 Mad. To be honest the quality seems to be better than the one that u can find in souk, but the items are really overpriced and they said it was not possible to bargain but only discount in case of multiple purchase. Actually on leather stuff the price is not exposed, in other items yes. They claimed they had reviews in lonely planet and other books but it’s not true. Most of leather suitcases had a horrible stench. Avoid it or at least bargain till half the price they start. After going out from shop, the man who was my “guide” for 10 min in the tannery asked for tip 100 Mad, I gave him 20 just to be polite!

  Avoid! Very agressive people. Pushing to buy someyhing... everywhere were disgusting stench...avoid and dont forget, sometimes little boy or teens guide u there, but the trip is not free, after all they want payment like 200-300 dirhams for one, two picture...AVOID

  Avoid, avoid , avoid. Rude to the point of being nasty and was pressured towards paying for a 'free' tour, when I avoided it was told to intercourse myself and my family, but not in those words! Very aggressive and intimidating.

  High pressure tourist trap. Avoid. Items heavily overpriced plus they pull you in by free tour of the tannery which then demand exorbitant payment. Avoid like the plague.
