  The cafe is really famous in Marrakesh and is divide in 3 parts, the restaurant, the cafe and hotel. They also have an outside terrace. The cafe has a nice view over the square. Service is really slow and the toillets are really dirty, really dirty and also you have to pay for using the dirty place.

  We only visited the cafe out front, not the restaurant. It was nice to sit and have a drink, but they let the locals constantly harass you to buy cigarettes and knock off ray-bans. Very annoying.

  In advance I’m only reviewing the Cafe as I haven’t tried their restaurant. They serve standard drinks and ice cream. Everything I’ve tried was good. The most st important part of this place is the view from their terasse overlooking Jema Elfena, where you can watch the happenings there and enjoy your evening. Don’t fancy special things there and keep your expectations reasonable to be able to enjoy both the view and your time.

  The menu on display outside is cheaper than the menu you receive when seated. The black olives tasted very, very bad. I would not recommend.

  I did not feel very welcome. I wanted to eat and drink on the very upper top terrace, but was constrained to take the menu - or nothing. Although still tables very unoccupied, it seems they can afford such an approach which does not seem to service oriented... However, a splendid view from above, and a waiter who at least explained the management's decision to sell only menus on the top. Therefore still a 3.
